The library of the GULAG History Museum holds a book collection dedicated to the research of the GULAG topic and the repression in the USSR as well as the history and culture of the Soviet times.

Anyone who would like to use library collections may apply submitting their passport or ID and get the GULAG History Museum's library card.

In the library, you may find large collections of published documents and researches done on the basis of archival sources, memorial books, and “martyrologies” created according to the geographical principle – regions of Russia and former Soviet republics. Library collections are available for a wide range of readers, specialists, and students.
